Opportunity Description:
Work with Junior Achievement's (JA) Events Coordinator in preparation for our May 11, 2009 "Golf Fore Kids" golf event. Assist in the planning and execution of the golf event. Assist our Events Coordinator with all phases of the golf event including: Contact vendors, work with planning/golf committee and negotiate in-kind services.

Working with the professional JA staff in all phases of the golf event while working within a comfortable office environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and execution of the golf event. The May 11, 2009 golf event is part of our annual fund-raising efforts. Assist our Events Coordinator with all phases of the golf event including: Contact vendors, work with planning/golf committee and negotiate in-kind services.
Requirements:
Positive attitude. Excellent organizational skills. Strong inter-personal skills. Detailed-oriented. The golf event is a "fun" event for our sponsors and exhibiting a "positive outlook" attitude will be necessary.
Time Commitment:
10 hours per week, but the hours can be negotiated. Working schedule can be flexible. Position will last from April 1, 2009 to May 31, 2009.
Development Opportunities:
This is a paid position. $7.00 an hour plus reimbursement of expenses if incurred.
