The Oklahoma Humanities Council seeks an intern skilled at website maintenance and application of electronic enhancements to our marketing and fundraising functions. This may include establishing social media, posting podcasts, and initiating creative features on our existing website. This is for summer 2009.
The position may also include writing press releases, fact finding, assisting with print publications, and other related duties, with opportunities to participate in portfolio-quality marketing materials. Strong writing and organizational skills are essential. Students in good standing from Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Communications and other applicable programs are encouraged to apply.
A stipend of $500 is available with our willingness to work with your university for internship course credit. Applicants must be available to work 12 hours per week, which may be adjusted to comply with course requirements.
