Responsibilities:
Copy writing and editing for promotional spots, web pages, print advertisements and articles.

Field producing for promotional spots, special holiday shoots, etc.

Event planning through meeting sit-ins and special assignments.

AVID editing.

Intern will be required to work community outreach events

Further learning opportunities will be possible by shadowing different members of our diverse marketing department.



Requirements:
Internship Opportunities: Candidate must have completed at least 60 credit hours toward degree. Internship must be taken for college credit. Intern candidates must be self-motivated and work well with others. Professional dress is expected at all times. Journalism/Broadcast News/Communications/Marketing majors must have:

GPA of 2.75 or above

Official transcript

One letter of recommendation from a current or former instructor

One-page essay detailing why student is interested in internship

Availability for internship up tp 16 hours per week.

Must complete internship application and Griffin Communications Intern Release Form.
