Public Relations Internship – midwest media & marketing
Position location: Oklahoma City, Okla.
midwest media and marketing is a full-service marketing, public relations, and video production firm located in the heart of Oklahoma City in the revitalized Plaza District.
midwest media and marketing (www.mwmediamarketing.com) is currently accepting applicants interested in a spring, summer, or fall semester internship for course credit. Weekly time commitments may range from eight to 15 hours weekly. Our internship program is designed to give students majoring in public relations or a communications-related field the hands-on experience needed to prepare for a professional position upon graduation.
midwest media & marketing interns will gain experience in a variety of areas, including:
- Public relations writing, including news releases, PSAs, and articles for publication
- Media relations
- Social media
- Event planning
- Brainstorming, creative development, and research
Applicants with strong writing skills are a must. Senior-level students and students with prior internship experience are preferred, but all applicants will be considered. This internship is unpaid.
