OKC Nonprofit program to promote women's accomplishments, Fall 2011, Unpaid

Position Location: Oklahoma City, Okla.

World Neighbors, an international nonprofit headquartered in Oklahoma City, is seeking interns for their WOW! (Work of Women) program. This high-level intern position will provide direct support to the marketing and communications department with special events planning, Web and print marketing, writing, some administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.

Functions:

Help plan WOW! walks, film festivals and other events
Write copy for e-communications, articles for Neighbors (World Neighbors magazine) and website
Update and manage social networking sites
Assist in all areas of WOW! donor communications
Assist with event committees providing administrative support
Other duties as assigned
Applicants should be able to work a minimum of 10 hours a week. The intern chosen will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge in marketing and experience with a well-respected international organization.
